GovTV is a video and telecast production company based in Southern California with roots in the broadcast engineering and integration industry. Founded by Bruce Arditte in 1995 and recently acquired by Pacific Design & Integration, Inc. GovTV’s mission is to open government objectives to improve community access, engagement, and legislative transparency by providing video coverage of public meetings for television, internet streaming, and public record.
Background
After over a decade telecasting government meetings with traditional “on-site” video control rooms, GovTV developed next-generation technology for video coverage from an “off-site” centralized state-of-the-art video control facility. This technology enables GovTV to provides public agencies with reduced costs, higher production values, and increased convenience through economies of scale. Savings are achieved with GovTV’s cloud-based video control rooms and centralized staffing. All services are fully managed and require zero local agency staff effort.
